Crastin SK615SF is a 30% glass fiber reinforced, low viscosity polybutylene terephthalate for injection molding. It has high flow characteristics and is specifically suitable for super fast production.

杜邦PBT材料概述：

DuPont CRASTIN PBT thermoplasticpolyesters are based on polybutylene terephthalate.

By making physical and technical modifications, a very wide range of products is available that are ideally suited to an enormous variety of industrial applications, including electronics, electrical, automotive,

mechanical engineering, chemical and apparatus engineering,domestic and medical appliances and sporting goods. In fact, this growing family is currently available in over 30 different grades,approximay half of which are flame retardant.

Among the many features of various CRASTIN  PBT grades are mechanical and physical properties of stiffness and toughness, heat resistance, friction and wear resistance, excellent surface finishes and good colourability. They have excellent electrical insulation characteristics and high arc-resistant grades are available.

Processing is simple, with good flow properties leading to short cycle times using standard injection moulding machines. Postmoulding operations such as welding, fastening and glueing are also easy, as are printing, painting, hot stamping and laser marking.

All-in-all, the DuPont CRASTIN  PBT range spellsversatility, process-ing ease and goodeconomics.

杜邦PBT材料應(yīng)用：

1. The inner and outer housing of this device are moulded of CRASTIN, all 4 parts areassembled with snap-fits.For this consumer product, DuPont PBT combines thefollowing: good mechanical properties, stiffness, resistance to usual bathroomchemicals and temperature resistance. It has good mould flow-characteristics,an important consideration for a highprecision moulding on which sensitive electroniccomponents are mounted.

2. CRASTIN® PBT with high trackingresistance,replaced epoxy in automotive ignition distributor caps because ofits excellent moulding properties.Such high-voltage applications require optimal dielectric performance as well as excellent thermal resistance and dimensional stability.

3. CRASTIN® is used for doorhandles for automotive applications. It is a 30% glass fibre reinforced PBTthat provides excellent mechanical properties and UV resistance.

4. Dimensional stability, chemical and temperature resistance facilitated KATKOin Finland to opt for CRASTIN SK645FR for this load break switch. It is a 30% glass-reinforcedPBT meeting UL94 V0 requirements. Compared to the traditionally used thermoset,CRASTIN  offers higher productivity, an integrated design andsignificant cost reductions.

5. CRASTIN  FR grade that meets UL94 V0 requirements was used for thesemodular terminals. Providing outstanding dielectric and precision moulding properties,it permits highspeed data exchange with a reduce number of terminalconnections.CRASTIN  is resistant to chemicals and humidity, it is an excellent electrical insulator, has high arc resistanceand a high comparative tracking index.

6. Eurometers Ltd. uses CRASTIN PBT for the main housing and the top cover for their E6 gasmeter. DuPont PBT is a good electricalinsulator, withstands extremes oftemperature, resists to domesticchemicals and has excellentdimensional stability. It also gives an attractive surface finish,which does notdeteriorate with time.Flow-tube assembly （foreground） is
